If a separate company operates any website or processes information independently, the responsible legal entity and its role should be identified before publication.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use our Services, which features you choose to use, and the permissions you provide.

C. Account and Contact Information
We may collect information such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, usernames, passwords or authentication credentials, account preferences, messages sent to us, and records of support requests.

We use this information for purposes such as operating our Services, protecting accounts, diagnosing technical problems, understanding usage, and improving performance.
E. Communications, Transactions, and Support
If you contact us, participate in a program, purchase a paid service, or communicate with our team, we may collect relevant correspondence, transaction records, billing details, and support history.
Where payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, that provider may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. We should not receive or retain full payment card details unless a particular payment process requires and lawfully permits it.
F. Information From Other Sources
Depending on the feature and applicable law, we may receive information from parents or guardians, coaches, teams, athletic organizations, event organizers, evaluation personnel, recruiting contacts, or publicly available sources.
We may combine information from different sources to maintain profiles, verify information, provide requested features, and improve the accuracy of athlete records. We will handle information about children in accordance with the applicable consent requirements described below.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- Account creation and management: To register users, authenticate accounts, and maintain athlete and parent profiles.

- Payments and administration: To process transactions, maintain records, and administer paid services where applicable.
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, court orders, and other legal obligations.
- Marketing: To send permitted announcements, newsletters, or promotional communications, subject to applicable law and available opt-out choices.
We will not use a child's personal information for a materially different purpose in a manner that requires additional consent without obtaining that consent where legally required.
4. Athlete Profiles, Public Information, and Recruiting
A central feature of NPP is the ability to present an athlete's skills, accomplishments, and athletic development to appropriate members of the sports community.
Depending on the Services and the athlete's settings, profile information may be made available to selected users or publicly visible. Information may include an athlete's name, sport, position, team, statistics, evaluations, photographs, videos, and other profile information the athlete or authorized parent or guardian has elected to share.
Profile visibility and child safety are important. We should provide clear profile-visibility controls and explain which information can be viewed by the public, registered users, coaches, scouts, or other permitted recipients.
For children under 13, we will not publicly post or disclose personal information covered by COPPA without the required verifiable parental consent or other legally sufficient authorization. Where required, public disclosure and sharing for recruiting or promotional purposes will be addressed separately from consent needed to provide the basic service.
Users should understand that information made publicly available may be viewed, copied, saved, or redistributed by others. We cannot guarantee that third parties will remove copies of information they previously obtained.
5. Children’s Privacy and COPPA
National Player Portal recognizes that many athletes who use sports development and recruiting platforms are minors. We take children's privacy seriously and intend to handle children's personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and its implementing rule.
COPPA generally applies to online services directed to children under 13 and to other services that have actual knowledge they are collecting personal information online from a child under 13.
A. Children Under 13
Where COPPA applies, we will provide the required notice to parents or legal guardians and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing a child's personal information, except where a specific legal exception applies.
We will not require a child to provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity or feature requested.
Until the required consent is obtained, we will not permit a child to establish a profile or participate in features that require collection of personal information, except for limited information that may lawfully be collected solely to obtain parental consent or as otherwise permitted by COPPA.
B. Notice to Parents and Guardians
Before obtaining consent, we will provide parents or legal guardians with a clear notice explaining, as applicable:
- The types of personal information collected from the child.
- How that information will be used.
- Whether the information may be disclosed to coaches, scouts, recruiters, other users, service providers, or the public.
- Which disclosures are necessary to provide the service and which are optional.
- How the parent or guardian can review the child's information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or prevent further collection or use.
- How to contact NPP with privacy questions or requests.
C. Parental Consent and Control
Where required by COPPA, we will use a method reasonably designed to verify that the person providing consent is the child's parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian may contact us to:
- Review personal information collected from their child.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of the child's personal information.
- Withdraw previously provided consent.
- Request that we stop further collection, use, or disclosure of the child's personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary recordkeeping.
We may need to verify the identity and authority of the person making a request before providing access to a child's information or changing an account.
If consent is withdrawn, we will stop the relevant collection, use, or disclosure as required by law and delete the information when legally required, subject to applicable exceptions.
D. Sharing a Child's Information
A parent's consent to create an account does not automatically authorize every possible use of a child's information.
Where required, we will obtain separate or additional parental consent before disclosing a child's personal information to third parties for purposes that require that consent, including applicable public disclosures, advertising, or other secondary uses.
We will not condition a child's participation in an activity on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for that activity.
E. Children’s Data Security and Retention
We will maintain reasonable procedures designed to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of children's personal information.
We will retain children's personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the specific purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will securely delete it or de-identify it, as appropriate and as permitted by law.
F. Parents and Guardians of Older Minors
COPPA specifically addresses children under 13. Other laws, including state privacy and consumer protection laws, may provide additional rights or impose additional requirements for teenagers and other minors.
Where applicable law requires parental involvement, age-appropriate consent, additional protections, or specific deletion rights for minors, we will follow those requirements.
G. Reporting a Child Privacy Concern
Parents and legal guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information without required consent may contact:
Email: info@nationalplayerportal.com
Mail: National Player Portal LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801
Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant account, but do not send unnecessary sensitive information. We may request reasonable verification before acting on a request.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, software development tools, log files, and similar technologies to operate our Services, remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure performance, understand usage, and support security.
Depending on the tools actually implemented, these technologies may collect information about browsing activity, device characteristics, or interactions with our Services.
You may be able to manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect login, preferences, or other functionality.
Where required by law, we will provide applicable notices and choices concerning analytics, targeted advertising, or other tracking technologies. We will not use or disclose children's personal information through tracking technologies in a manner prohibited by COPPA or other applicable law.
Our actual use of analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, and similar tools must be reviewed before this section is published.
7. When We Share Personal Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances, subject to applicable law and any required consent.
A. Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that help us host, operate, maintain, secure, or support our Services, such as hosting providers, account authentication services, customer support providers, analytics vendors, and payment processors.
Service providers should be permitted to use personal information only as necessary to provide contracted services, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards and applicable law.
B. Coaches, Scouts, Recruiters, and Athletic Organizations
Where an athlete or authorized parent or guardian has selected or authorized relevant sharing, we may make athlete profile information available to coaches, scouts, recruiters, teams, athletic organizations, or other intended recipients.
Users should review profile settings and understand that a recipient may independently retain information received from an athlete profile.
C. Public Profiles and User-Directed Sharing
Information may be shared publicly or with other users when the user has chosen a public profile or otherwise directed the disclosure, subject to the special requirements for children's information and any additional consent required by law.
D. Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful legal process, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights and property.
E. Business Transfers
If NPP is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.
F. With Your Consent
We may disclose information for another purpose when you have directed us to do so or have provided the consent required by law.
We will not treat a parent's consent to a child's basic account as blanket permission for unrelated marketing or advertising disclosures.
8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Privacy laws use specific definitions for terms such as “sale,” “sharing,” and “targeted advertising.” Certain disclosures may fall within these definitions even when no money is exchanged.
This Policy does not represent that NPP never sells or shares personal information under every applicable legal definition. Our practices, advertising tools, analytics integrations, and vendor contracts must be reviewed to determine whether such activities occur.
Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, we will provide the legally required method to exercise that right.
We will not sell children's personal information or use it for targeted advertising in a manner prohibited by applicable law. Any consent required for such activity must be obtained before the activity occurs.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Depending on the systems used, safeguards may include access controls, account authentication, vendor restrictions, security monitoring, and appropriate data-handling procedures.
No website, application, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
Users should protect their login credentials and promptly notify us if they believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing Services, maintaining authorized athlete profiles, meeting legal or accounting obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose of collection, account status, applicable legal requirements, and the rights of the individual.
When personal information is no longer needed, we will take appropriate steps to delete it or de-identify it, subject to legal obligations and legitimate, legally permitted retention needs.
For children's personal information, retention and deletion procedures will be designed to meet COPPA's requirements and other applicable children's privacy laws.
Deleting an account or removing information from a public profile may not immediately remove every backup copy, legally required record, or copy already obtained by another user. We will handle such information in accordance with applicable law and our retention procedures.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
- Opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

A. California Residents
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, if NPP is subject to those laws.
Depending on the circumstances, those rights may include the right to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
Where applicable, NPP will provide required disclosures, request mechanisms, and opt-out methods. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising privacy rights protected by law.
B. Minors in California
California law may provide additional rights to minors concerning publicly posted content and the removal of certain information. A qualifying minor may request removal of content they posted, subject to applicable statutory conditions and exceptions.
A removal request should identify the specific content and provide enough information for us to locate it. We will review and respond as required by law.
Removal from our Services does not necessarily remove copies retained by third parties or information that the law permits or requires us to retain.
C. Residents of Other States
Residents of other states may have additional privacy rights under their applicable state laws. Where NPP is subject to those laws, we will provide the rights, disclosures, and request processes required by law.
D. Canadian Residents
If NPP processes personal information subject to Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we will handle that information in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Depending on the law and circumstances, individuals may have rights to understand how their information is collected, used, and disclosed; access their information; request correction; and withdraw consent where permitted.
To make a request or raise a privacy concern, contact info@nationalplayerportal.com. The applicable privacy law, including any provincial law, will determine the rights and response obligations that apply.
12. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, social networks, video hosting services, payment providers, or other external services.
Those third parties may collect information directly from you and may have their own privacy policies and terms. This Policy does not govern independent third-party services that we do not operate.
We encourage users and parents or guardians to review third-party privacy practices before submitting information or interacting with external services.
13. Email and Marketing Preferences
You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the message or by contacting info@nationalplayerportal.com.
Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send necessary service-related messages, including account notices, security alerts, transaction confirmations, parental consent notices, and important policy updates.
We will obtain consent for marketing communications where required by applicable law.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, business practices, or legal obligations change.
The “Last Updated” date at the beginning of the Policy indicates when it was most recently revised. We will provide notice or obtain additional consent for material changes when required by law.
Your continued use of our Services after an updated Policy becomes effective will be subject to applicable law and any required notice or consent. Continued use alone will not replace consent where the law requires affirmative consent.
